Westminster Council insist on new businesses to have CCTV installed to Met Police Standard

Recently CCTV Camera London Ltd has been contacted and contracted by a number of businesses in Westminster for aCCTV system and installation. The local council are now setting out in part of their licensing requirements, that the business must have a CCTV system installed to meet the Met Police Standard. The Met Police is quite simple to understand. It stipluates things like ;

• The CCTV system must capture a clearly identifiable image of any person using any entrance in any light condition.
• The CCTV system must record and keep data for a minimum 31 Days.
• The CCTV system recorder must be in safe and secure location.
• Data must be made available to the Police or Council.
