British government needs to investment in far superior quality CCTV Cameras. Evidence in support of this is quite shocking.

The government spends a lot of public money on installing CCTV Camera systems. More than 500 million has been spent on protecting the city of London and more is being invested across Britain. The tax payer also pays for the court’s time and for the judicial machineray to help put the bad guys behind bars. It is a real shame that most of the technology that the government is spending on is not the most advanced. Night cameras that provide pictures that look like an untidy canvas of oil painting. Our iPhones and latest cameras have high mega pixels and can capture near to real pictures, which if you zoom in provides you a good detailed view. Our courts will save so much time and our police will be able to get clues and evidence without wasting months to find the wrong doers if the CCTV cameras installed are of a high quality. Case in point, are the latest two crimes which could have been solved very quickly if the video footage captured was of a high quality.

1) CCTV images released of Suffolk digger bank raid
Police have released CCTV images of a digger being used to rip out a cash machine from a bank in Suffolk.Thieves targeted a Lloyds TSB branch, in Hadleigh, at about 03:30 BST on Wednesday. The digger had been taken from a nearby building site. A small dark hatchback car was spotted being driven away from the scene. 2) Ashley Finlay death: CCTV appeal for witnesses
CCTV images of five people who may have witnessed a fatal attack in Derby have been released by police. Ashley Finlay, 24, of Spondon, died soon after being found near the The Old Bell Hotel in Sadler Gate, Derby, at 03:30 BST on 9 April. Police said a couple and three men who used the nearby Lloyds TSB cash machine may have important information. 29-year-old man has been charged with murder while a 45-year-old man is on police bail. The man in the couple was described as having dark hair and was wearing a dark, long-sleeved top and dark jeans. He had facial hair and appeared to be smoking.The woman was described as white with shoulder-length blonde hair. She wore a dress or skirt underneath a pale mid-thigh-length coat. She also wore high heeled shoes and carried a pale bag over her shoulder.The group of three men were all white and wore dark trousers.
