The newly opened Scoop Ice Cream on Brewer Street applied for a late license. As one of the conditions of the license, Westminster Council required a CCTV system to be installed to the Met Police standard. This means:

• A CCTV system to their reasonable requirements, covering the entrances, exits, internal and external areas of the premises.
• A CCTV system that operated and recorded 24 hours, every day.
• A system that would retain recordings for a minimum of 31 days.
• A system that would deliver CCTV images to Police or Council Officers, in a useable form and available on request.

The business had also recently lost some cash and the owner wanted to improve cash management. Brewer Street was also the second retail outlet so the owner also wanted to keep an eye on the outlet from Head Office and home. CCTV Cameras London designed and installed a 4 & 7 camera CCTV system that meets all the requirements of the London Metropolitan Police at both locations. The CCTV captures identifiable images of any person walking into any shop in any light condition (night or day). It monitors the whole shop, staff, customers and safe. A camera was also placed directly over the tills, so all transactions are recorded. The owner is pleased with the whole system. Cash Management has improved and staff productivity.
